Working with Entries

Add, view, edit, and manage data entries within your databases.

Creating an Entry

  1. Select a database from the schema tree
  2. Click the + New button in the toolbar
  3. Fill in the required and optional fields
  4. Click Create Entry

Each entry automatically receives a unique ID based on the database prefix (e.g., DT-001, DT-002).

Viewing Entry Details

Click on any entry's ID link to open the detail view, which provides:

  • Header - Entry ID, access controls, and action menu
  • Description - Rich text description (system field)
  • Details - Large/complex field values (HTML text, lists, etc.)
  • Linked Entries - Other entries that link to this entry via Entry Link fields
  • Activity - Comment thread and change history
  • Sidebar - Short field values for quick reference (numbers, dates, checkboxes, single references)
  • Subscribers - Team members following this entry

Editing Entries

Most fields support inline editing directly in the table or detail view:

  • Click on a field value to edit
  • Changes save automatically after a brief delay
  • Use the modal editor for complex changes

Bulk Operations

Select multiple entries using checkboxes, then use the toolbar to:

  • Archive Selected - Archive all selected entries
  • Delete Selected - Permanently delete selected entries
